The Fund now provides an RSS
feed.The feed will
allow you to stay up to date with the latest news and additions from the
Fund.
To subscribe to it, you
will need a News Reader or other similar device.
What is RSS?
With more and more
websites/web pages coming on stream everyday, keeping track of what is new
on each site can be a problem.
That is where RSS comes
into play. Using a News Reader and subscribing to an RSS feed can show
you what is new on each site.
Many sites list RSS as standing
for 'Really Simple Syndication', but there is some debate about what the
true meaning of RSS is as some refer to it as Rich Site Summary.
Put simply, it allows you to identify the content
of the world wide web that you wish to see and have it delivered directly to you.
It removes the complications of staying
up-to-date, by showing you the very latest information that you are
interested in.
Not all websites currently provide
RSS, but it is growing rapidly. RSS is seen as the next significant area
of technological improvement in relation to the world wide web.
How do I start using RSS feeds?
In general, the first thing you need is something called a news reader
(some you have to purchase others are free personal use).
There are many different versions, some of which are accessed using a
browser, and some of which are downloadable applications.
All allow you
to display and subscribe to the RSS feeds you want.
